Chambered in the popular 6.5 Creedmoor, the Axis 2 XP Combo delivers excellent long-range accuracy with manageable recoil. The 22-inch carbon steel barrel features a 1:8 twist rate for optimal bullet stabilization and a matte black finish for corrosion resistance and reduced glare. The drilled and tapped receiver comes fitted with a 3-9x40mm scope, mounted and bore-sighted for quick setup in the field.
Savage’s AccuTrigger allows the shooter to fine-tune the trigger pull from 2.5 to 6 pounds, ensuring a crisp, consistent break. The gray synthetic stock is lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant, with a fixed design and a comfortable 13.75-inch length of pull. At 7.70 pounds, this rifle strikes a balance between stability and maneuverability for various hunting and shooting conditions.
