The IWI Galil ACE (Gen 1, 13″) is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on a long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt for consistent and reliable operation. It features a 13-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined CrMoV barrel with a 1:9.45 right-hand twist rate, supporting durability and accuracy. The rifle is finished in matte black and utilizes an aluminum receiver, with an overall length ranging from 24 1/8 inches to 34 1/8 inches depending on configuration, and a weight of approximately 8 pounds.

This model includes adjustable sights with a tritium front post and a two-dot tritium rear aperture for low-light visibility. It feeds from standard 30-round 7.62×39 magazines and incorporates a side-folding stabilizing brace for improved control and compact storage. The Galil ACE platform reflects a modernized evolution of the original design, combining traditional AK-based reliability with updated ergonomics and materials.
