The AF1911-Romulus Compact is a modern 9mm pistol that combines the proven ergonomics of the 1911 platform with contemporary enhancements for optics compatibility and high-capacity performance. Built with a precision-machined SUS416 stainless steel frame and slide, both finished in durable black DLC, the pistol is designed for long-term reliability and corrosion resistance. Its 3.5-inch bull-ramped, threaded, and compensated barrel features a 1:10 twist rate, helping reduce recoil while maintaining consistent accuracy. A tactical accessory rail further expands the platform’s versatility for lights and other compatible accessories.
We built the AF1911-Romulus Compact to deliver exceptional performance in a compact package. The optics-ready slide features a rear MOS adapter cut and includes both an RMSc mounting plate (pre-installed) and an RMR adapter plate for compatibility with a wide range of popular red dot optics. A Night Fision front sight and ambidextrous thumb safety enhance usability, while the textured polymer grip module with an integrated magwell provides a secure grip and supports faster reloads. The pistol ships with one 17-round and one 20-round magazine, offering increased capacity without compromising the handling characteristics expected from a compact 1911-inspired design.
